Being a portrait photographer in London I am lucky enough to go to some amazing locations to capture my beautiful children’s portraits.
Over the years I have been lucky enough to have taken some beautiful children’s portraits on a vintage double decker bus, The Cutty Sark, Gods own Junkyard, Southbank Skate park to name just a few!
Each wonderful location has been chosen by the client as a place that is important and personal to them, making their images totally unique to them.
The images below are all from a recent shoot taken in Shorditch of the gorgeous little Zoe! We started the shoot in her families amazing Butchers shop! a brilliant start to a couple of hours wondering the vibrant and colourful streets!
These next images are from another favourite of mine the grounds of the Horniman Museum with a very energetic Cooper! With the fabulous views over London we never fail to get brilliant shots here and there are so many wonderful locations to choose from!
In the coming weeks I have some special shoots booked up for Camden, Fulham Palace Gardens, Kenwood house and The British Library!
These are lovely shoots for me as I know the client has a personal connection to each of these venues making the images far more special to them.
If you and your family have a unique location that you would like to have your portraits taken please do contact me to discuss your requirements I would love to hear from you!
All the best!
So 2015 was a big year for my lovely little business, I decided to make the big step of moving from my gorgeous studio in High Barnet to all location based shoots. Many thought I was mad to give up such a lovely space, and leave the comfort zone of the studio.
Here is an article, from The photographer Sept 2015 explaining why I did ,and the great changes is has made to me as a portrait photographer in London. It really pushed my photography in ways that are both good for me in a creative way, and for my clients , their portraits are now more unique to their family.

I think it is a real insight to how a great adventure (which Africa, Tanzania, and the whole experience with Raleigh International was) can completely change you’re outlook in life! And in so many ways that you might not even imagine!
2016 is also proving to be a very exciting year, with many new projects and adventures planned! I look forward to telling you all about them! 🙂
They really all do seem to have stemmed from this initial adventure! So go on push yourself to do something out of the ordinary! You never know where it might take you!
Speak soon! Love from a very excited portrait photographer 🙂
Last week, I had the pleasure of returning to a fabulous house in Winchmore Hill, North London, for some natural portrait images, of two gorgeous little girlies!
This is a yearly occurrence for this family, as they want to capture their growing family and how their girls are changing so quickly! It is really lovely to see how the girls are really getting such lovely little personalities!
I have been imaging the girls for a few years now, and started doing this in the studio in High Barnet, I now have moved all of my shoots outside, and on location, as this seemed like the natural progression!
The kids are loving the freedom of being able to go outside, and as a result the images taken are more natural and unique to each client, something which clients are really embracing.
If you are thinking of having some beautiful natural portraits of your family or children, please do contact me for details! It would be a pleasure to chat with you!

I look forward to hearing from you!
Having returned from another wonderful trip to Nepal with the charity Raleigh International, I am now back to shooting my day job, with some lovely location portraits in and around London.
So with the weather improving (slightly!) I have started to shoot all of my portraits of children and families out on location, and what a joy! I love to explore the beautiful countryside and parks that we have in and around London. We really do have a wealth of great open spaces that are perfect for family portraiture.

I am loving the freedom of not being tied to the studio, and the results I am finding are much more natural, and in keeping for the growing trend of lifestyle location portraits, although they are definitely more time consuming, clients are relishing choosing locations more personal to them, resulting in more unique portraiture.
Some of the more memorable shoots from last year include, a vintage bus shoot, a skate park shoot, the Cutty Sark, the seaside, and many others!
If you and your family would like to capture some unique portraits in a location personal to you, please do contact me to discuss your ideas! It would be great to hear from you!
I am now taking bookings for the summer holidays! With weddings and other commissions meaning I am very busy, please do contact me as soon as possible to book a particular date.
I look forward to meeting you!
