A full day practical workshop for those wanting to learn all there is to know about studio portraiture lighting.
The morning will be theory based at the Studio paying particular attention to all aspects of posing, including hands and feet.
We will also explore the various masculine and feminine poses to capture flattering portraits. Posing groups and families will also be covered.
We will then explore the various lighting techniques used in the studio to capture striking portraits.
From Rembrandt lighting through to split lighting short and broad lighting, butterfly lighting and when and with whom it is most appropriate to use each.
With a model we with further explore the studio lighting set up, starting with a one light set up and building ute to a 3 light set up.
This course is limited to 5 delegates so that we are able to each get a good amount of time with the model.
We will then down load our favourite images and have a constructive critique with tips and directions of how they could be better.
At the end of the day each delegate will leave with a printed copy of their favourite image from the day.
