Description
The perfect follow on course for our Children’s portraiture course or one for those wanting to fully understand the skills needed to capture beautiful portraits in natural light.
Initially we will spend time in the studio looking at examples of the various ways to use natural light for portraits. We will then begin with our model and explore window light and lighting portraits inside.
We will then head outside and explore the techniques used by professional portrait photographers to capture stunning natural light images. Making full use of our beautiful surroundings in Cheltenham.
We will utilise a wide variety of backdrops including the urban and the more natural and how these can be used to give your client a wide variety of portrait shots to chose from.
After lunch we will return to the studio and download our images and talk through some basic editing techniques specific to portraiture including colour correction, black and white conversions and saving for print.
We will then constructively critique the work and chose our favourites for your portfolio with some tips as to how to progress your portraiture work to the next level.
You will each go away with a print from the day.
Spaces are limited to 6 delegates so as each will get a good amount of time with the model.
