Mixed Genre Photography Mentoring

Vicky is a successful wedding and portrait photographer based in Leicester, and was looking for a mentoring programme to help her to gain a solid direction for her beautiful images.

Vicky received a series of mentoring sessions with me where we critiqued her work and sorted them into three considered and cohesive panels of images.

Vicky had three distinct genres of landscapes, butterflies and portraits for us to balance together as a set. When we were creating Vicky's panel it was important to group them in such a way that they worked separately as collections yet also as a panel as a whole and serve as a representation of Vicky's skill as a photographer in all three.

The panel was a great success with the judges and Vicky is now working towards her Craftsman qualification with The Guild of Photographers.
