Still Life Photography Mentoring

Vicki was looking for a mentoring programme to help her formulate a clear direction to take her photographic ideas forward.

Vicki received a series of short mini mentoring sessions where we critiques her work and sorted them into considered and cohesive panels of images.

Vicki's still life images of flowers in their various forms.are a wonderful example of how to look at the everyday in a new way and to create wonderful abstract images.

When we were creating Vicki's panel it was important to curate them in such a way that they worked separately as collections yet also as a panel as a whole.

Vicki is now working towards her Craftsman qualification with The Guild.

Saraya helped me to understand what assessors are looking for - it's easy to misinterpret the requirements.

She also gave me the confidence that my work was worthy of submission by telling me work was good enough!
