Landscape Photography Mentoring

Scott first approached me for mentoring sessions at the beginning of the year with his initial goal to gain qualified professional status with The Guild of Photographers.

Scott joined the Guild of Photographers late last year to gain inspiration and a creative push. At the beginning of the year he decided to put some of his time towards gaining the Guilds qualified status so contacted me for a mentoring programme to work towards this goal.

In our first session we discussed Scotts aims for his photography and which direction this should be. Over the next few sessions we then put together a strong cohesive panel of Scotts incredible landscape images to put towards the Guild judges.

The panel was passed unanimously for its beautifully seen compositions and impeccable lighting and editing.

Scott is now working towards the next goal of Craftsman of the Guild and I am very much looking forward too seeing more of his work!

Qualified Status

Saraya has a great eye for detail and a particular way of looking at an image and suggesting subtle changes that she gets you to think about, once implemented you see the difference they make. This positive and constructive criticism pushes your work forward.

Saraya, has a very positive attitude and its infectious. Her observations are always well-intentioned and come across in a very positive way. I had a few mini sessions with Saraya and with her help and feedback I got my Guild Qualification on my first attempt.
