Renata was already an accomplished wedding and portrait photographer when she approached me for mentoring.
The most important thing for me was to help Renata start to value her work and believe in herself as a photographer.
With some honest feedback and encouragement Renata was able to see how talented and truly gifted she was and push aside the doubts that we all have as creatives.
Specifically we talked about elements that could make or break images or take away from the subject. It helped Renata not only to be more focused during the shoot to eliminate any unnecessary distractions, awkward posing, wardrobe malfunction, stray hair etc but also inspect her images more closely before the final print.
Renata is now working towards her craftsman qualification and I very much look forward to watching this very talented photographer grow!
