Fine Art Photography Mentoring

Lucy is a portrait photographer based in my beautiful hometown of Bradford on Avon.

Lucy shoots primarily fine art families and children portraits in a relaxed informal way, with impeccable lighting and beautiful poses her work is classically refined portraiture its best.

Lucy approached me initially for feedback for some Image of the Month submissions she had made. I gave her pointers as to where she could improve her images with different poses and slight editing tweaks that are important when entering images for competition.

Lucy's portraiture has now developed to such a standard that she has recently successfully submitted a beautiful panel of images! I hope that she will now begin working towards her Craftsmen Panel.

Mentoring really helps you to see your images in a different way, and to consider how the viewer might see them. Saraya really helped me to consider attention to detail in my editing, and talked me through the improvements to posing my subjects I needed to make to achieve higher quality images.

As well as advice around improving my images, Saraya also gave me some excellent business advice, and really improved my confidence in my work.
