Since 2016 I have been very proud to be UK Fujifilm brand ambassador. Only a handful of photographers are selected and to be a part of this forward thinking team is a wonderful privilege.
With my lifestyle portraiture and my extensive travel it seemed the perfect system for me to migrate to, from the heavy digital DSLR's that I was using previously.
I now shoot solely on Fujifilm equipment, with my main kit being, the Fujifilm X-T2, alongside the Fujifilm X-T20.
My go to lenses for my portraiture and travel work are the Fujinon 16-55mm, 50-150mm zoom lenses, and as for the primes I love the 56mm APD and the 90mm.
This kit for me covers all bases whether I am based in the UK on location or in the middle of a remote village in Africa.
I have also recently purchased the Fujifilm Instax Mini 9. The perfect little camera for family parties and functions, I can see a use for it out in the field! Especially in remote villages where I might like to offer a subject a hard copy of an image I may have taken!
You can see further information and videos here on the official Fujifilm X series website.
The next opportunity to watch me speak about my experiences of shooting portraiture and travel photography with the Fujifuilm X series will be at The Photography Show at the NEC on the 16th and 17th of March on the Fujifilm main stand and The Turning Pro Main stand. Please do come along and say hello! And listen to some fun and inspiring stories about my travels withe the X system and how it has changed my outlook on shooting professional work.
