Beautiful Portraits, Pershore
A few weeks ago in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside, I had few beautiful shoots in the gorgeous Confetti Fields, in Wick, near Pershore.
A very popular location for portraits every year, I was keen to take some images here myself.
The lovely Darcy and her mum came bright and early, and luckily it wasn’t too hot at this point!
The flowers were stunning and really took your breath away on first sight. So many wonderful fresh colours, from bright pinks through to dark purples, there was a backdrop to suit every outfit that they bought.
Darcy has done a few shoots with me prior to this, and is a real pro in front of the camera, this image of her is probably one of my favourites from the shoot, I just love the movement of that dress!
With no shade ANYWHERE in the field, the shooting conditions for flattering portraits was tricky, especially when we were approaching mid day! But shooting into the sun always works, and with these beautiful flowers as a backdrop the light coming through them works wonderfully.
The great thing with these two (mum and daughter) is that they always come fully prepared for their shoots, and we had some beautiful outfits to choose from, which makes for good variety in the session.
And the unicorn dress looked great against the purple! Good choice Darcy!
The Confetti fields are only open each year for a very limited time, and they are well worth a visit if you get the chance! And if you are considering some portraits of your family or just the children, please do not hesitate to get in contact with me.
I still have some availability for summertime shoots, and before we know it, we will all be wrapped up warm in hats and scarves taking Autumn portraits ready for Christmas!, But lets enjoy this gorgeous summer first while it lasts!
All the best!
