Childrens Portraits, London
Photographing children on location in London, is a real treat for any portrait photographer!
There are so many wonderful locations to chose from, stunning parks, bridges, famous landmarks and some really funky urban settings!
Recently I had a request from a family that I have had the pleasure of capturing for many years, to have a family portrait shoot in Shoreditch.
Ebor Street, just off Bethnal Green Road, was the place to meet!
This was a new location for me, and I am always keen to find new and interesting locations to push my work creatively.
I arrived early to scout the location, and WHAT a location! It was obviously well known to other photographers, as there seemed to be a stream of them up and down the street! Taking images of young models, children, and business portraits.
However, after a while we had the place to ourselves, and it was wonderful. The colors, the cobbled street, were just perfect for the style of clothes the family had bought along.
It really does make a difference to the shoot if clients have really thought about what they are wearing in their chosen environment.
The girls were fantastic and had great expressions, and it really is lovely for me to see my clients grow, in to beautiful kids and be great friends!
