Yesterday was a great little adventure, as we took a little journey to the coast, to take some lovely portraits of the brilliant Skye!
We checked the weather, packed some clothes, some lunch and of course some ice-cream money for an after photo treat!
The weather at the moment is proving to be a little changeable so we decide on a couple of lovely outfits, and also bought along a very big cuddly monkey called Mr. Johnson to keep us warm if it got a bit windy!
Our first stop was Chalkwell (Skye called it her beach!) near Southend, where we found some lovely spots for some portraiture, Skye especially enjoyed running up and down the steps! With the tide coming in quickly, and Skyes tummy rumbling we decided to move on to our next spot.
Shoebury Common, has a great little beach which was the perfect spot for our little picnic, and it also has some great beach huts and seating areas, which were brilliant for us to use in our images…(and to keep out of the wind!)
Skye chose the huts that would go well with her dresses! (and there were lots to choose from!)
I especially love these images as they really capture the colours of the beach huts and the fun of Skye’s character, all in one!
We then packed up the car again and headed unto the beautiful and peaceful East Beach in Shoeburyness! This is easily one of me favourite places in the area, really atmospheric and so many great places for images!
We stayed for a while and watched the amazing kite surfers making the most of the wind, and took the last of our portraits,
Then back home for a well deserved ice cream!
